In a town called Padingo by the ocean, by mountains, woods, and sandy beach, all the kids would spend their days outside. Pepito was the boy who loved to dance. He felt when he danced that he could be anything in the world that he wanted to be. He could be everything. But Pepito was sad and lonely because no one would dance with him just laugh at his dancing. His grandmother comforted him saying a poem: "If every child were like every other, you wouldn't know who was your sister or brother. And if every flower looked just the same, 'flower' eould be each flower's name." The Lord Mayor Don Esquadrille and his daughter Estrellita were the richest people in Padingo. He thought no one was good enough to play with his daughter. And although she had every toy imaginable, she was lonely. She wanted to be outside playing with her friends. Estrellita grew very ill so her father told the kids to bring presents to her to become her friend (whoever brought the best gift got to be her friend). No one pleased Estrellita until Pepito came into her room and danced for her. She was so happy she got out of bed and danced with him. She was the only person who didn't laugh at his dancing. His dancing cured her and the Lord even joined in. Pepito understood his talent and they all played together from then on.… (altro)
