2875 Belarus and Moldova country studies Edited by Helen Fedor (read 9 Jun 1996) This was researched as of May 1995, so it is reasonably up-to-date. I found both studies of some interest. It is disturbing that despite Chernobyl and the discovery of 250,000 bodies of persons killed under Stalin Belarus is still eager to be "Russian." Moldova is an interesting country and I hope it remains independent. Belarus is the size of Kansas (I thought it was bigger) and Moldova is the size of Maryland.
