This book teaches children different experiments they can do in the water to see what sinks and what floats. This is a great book for children wanting to learn more and take part in hands on activities right after reading the story.

This book would be great for experiments! This is a kind of book you would want to read when you are trying to do fun experiments with children and teach them about air. This will help children get involved and enjoy learning. I truly enjoy reading books that give people fun ideas to do in a classroom or even at home.

As I've stated before, I really like this innovative series for young readers. Young readers are introduced to science through a handful of fun activities that all students can participate in. Let's Try It Out in the Air allows students to see the many way air affects household and everyday items all around us. Great use of stem questions like: What if? Help young readers draw conclusions and track data in ways that are relevant to them.

I've enjoyed this innovative and culturally inclusive book series. Let's Try It In the Water is a great way to get young readers thinking about buoyancy by showcasing a myriad of everyday activities that everyone can participate in. It's nice to see different children of many different backgrounds learning together - and the activities seen in this book do not require purchasing any extra items, which gives ALL students a chance to participate and have fun.

Opportunities to learn about how different objects will respond when in and out of the water. I love how the author made these experiments tangible, going so far to suggest that even a bathtub can become a laboratory where children can observe and draw their own conclusions in ways that are relevant to them.

Great use of the book's title as an invitation to learning. Let's Try It Out!
