Hayley Faiman brings us the second book in her new series the Dark Horse MC. Filthy Secret is an age-gap second-chance romance with lies and betrayal, secrets and half-truths, love and cheating, heartbreak and stubbornness, anger, and threats. Sometimes I find a book that I like because of how much I dislike the character and this is one of those for me.
Ryan was 18 young and naive with a need for family so she followed her sister into the lion's den so to speak. As soon as Ryan met Atomic she fell and vice versa but they were toxic together. All he did was cheat on her with the club girls (including her sister) while her heart broke more and more until 5 years later she was gone. She didn't leave empty handed but Atomic let it go until she came back needing help. Atomic had claimed Ryan as his ol' lady and that never changed even if he hates her and wants her to stay gone. When he refused to help her with the new problem her sister got her involved in she got hurt badly. Ryan doesn't have a choice now and all her secrets have to come out after he meets Adam.
I gave this a 4-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. Ryan and Atomic are both too stubborn and hard headed for their own good. The relationship between these two went deep. They might have been toxic for each other but there also wasn't anyone else. Throughout most of the book, I didn't like the way Atomic was especially when talking about the first time they were together when all he cared about was a different girl every night and drinking while she waited for him. Ryan got to the point in her life where she was desperate for someone to care and the first one that did never knew what he had until it was almost gone twice. There is redemption for Atomic in the end but through most of it he was just an asshole. I definitely recommend this one. Filthy Hot is out next in this series.

Filthy Alpha is the 1st book in the new Dark Horse MC series by Hayley Faiman. It's an age-gap alpha-hole romance with strong emotions and secrets to be revealed. This book is a great start to a new MC series. We got to learn who the characters were and some of the club's dynamics. All the things I've come to look for in Hayley's MC books are there. It's raw, dark, and she does not mince words.
King is the VP of the Dark Horse MC and when he goes to make a delivery to his deadbeat parent's bar he realizes it's not there anymore. Instead, it's a bakery now and he meets the owner Shawn who he's immediately attracted to even if he tells himself she is too young for him. Shawn has been dreaming of having a bakery and saving for it since she was a teenager as a way to escape her dysfunctional home with her abusive and drug-addicted mother. Her bakery is struggling and while trying to figure out how to make it thrive she meets King who turns her world upside down. She's never known a man like him and can't help but be drawn to him. Unfortunately, there are things they both don't know about Shawn and some don't want them together or him to claim her. It comes down to a battle of life or death to be able to be together.
I gave this a 4-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. The determination in Shawn drew me in and although I didn't like King all that much in the beginning he turned out to be a good guy for her to be with. It was nice to see such a young naive woman like Shawn turn into a confident strong woman just by having someone to support and believe in her. Exactly what every woman wants and needs in their life. I can't wait to check out the next in the series Filthy Secret.

This is the 8th book in Hayley Faiman's Nasty Bastards MC called Wrap Up My Life. It is the story of Bans and Moxie. If you've read the books in this series that came before this one you will remember Moxie. She was Smoke's Ol'Lady until he betrayed the club and she learned there whole relationship was nothing but a lie. After going off the deep end doing nothing but drinking she got herself straight and went back to stripping at TNA and swearing off men for the rest of her life. Bans is the clubs tech guy and he's had eyes for Moxie since they met even when she was with Smoke. When Moxie starts stripping again, Bans is in the audience every night to watch her until he's given a nudge to claim her if that's what he wants. Even though Moxie thought she would never want another man in her life especially a Nasty Bastard she feel a connection to Bans and learns he's different from the other members.
This story takes place around Christmas time and unlike all the other books in this series there is no war or rival MC coming after them or their families. Though there is some drama and unexpected surprises revealed in the book, it mostly follows Bans and Moxie's relationship. He wears her down quickly and falls in love with her. Moxie realizes that she can finally have what's she's always wanted and that she never loved Smoke, she loved what he could give her even though he never did.
Another great book from Hayley Faiman. If you want to understand Moxie better then I suggest reading the series from the beginning and watching how things turn out and what happens to her.… (altro)
