The American Diner Cookbook di Elizabeth McKeon

This book covers what is says in the title - recipes for the sort of food served in American diners over the past century or so. There are photographs and profiles of interesting diners and their owners. There is a great nostalgia for these places as original businesses of the ilk, as opposed to retro repro, are fast disappearing.
