Hannah’s story is one that will rip your heart out and yet it also mends it with strength and love. Coming from horrific situations, Hannah had a rough start in life and when she chose to leave it the last thing she expected was to find friends in two other lost souls trying to survive, Aiden and Garrett. They cross lines for the sake of survival but at some point, she realizes there’s a fine line of surviving and doing things for the thrill, so she questions a lot of what they do.
When a bad situation that could have her locked up or sent away ends up being the best thing to ever happen to her, she slowly starts to lead a normal life even when the boys walk away. She never forgets the struggles they went through and the bonds they formed.
Years later Hannah made herself an incredible life that she loves and while she never forgot Aiden and Garrett, she’s at peace with where she is in life, yet she’s still all alone.
Hannah and Leo have this attraction from the start, but Hannah is tongue tied when it comes to talking to him. Leo makes it his mission to get to know her and as they spend more time together things really heat up. Leo works as a consultant to the local police as well as a PI and when this case starts to point in a certain direction he is at a loss as to what to do because the Hannah he knows is a beautiful and caring soul. When it’s all said and done will Hannah have anyone standing in her corner or will she still be alone? Can the relationship between Leo and Hannah survive this mystery that surrounds them, or will they walk away?
This story was intense with mystery and the twist threw me for a loop because I was certain I knew who done it all, but I was wrong. The steam is off the charts between Leo and Hannah that I devoured it all, but there are a few questions that I have about some things that were never addressed that have made me feel like I was left hanging. Fantastic read and I can’t wait for more!!… (altro)
