Tessa and Weston: The Best Christmas Ever di Abbie Emmons
I have been waiting for this day since 100DOS came out two years ago!

This book is amazing! Everything about it! Seriously, I cannot recommend this enough. It was so sweet and full of perfect moments.
I was laughing a lot. In the middle of class. In the dentist office. Late at night. (Shh, don't tell)
I was living the life of the characters. Not literally, but it sure felt like it. I didn't want to go back into the Real World. The characters are sticking with me and calling me back into the story.
Weston offered a unique viewpoint in YA fiction that I don't often see. He had overcome his obstacles, through much work. He was a bright ray of sunlight in a dark world, intent on sharing his perspective with others.
Tessa. . .She was going through a lot and her whole personality just drew me in. Her reactions to everything that she experienced seemed very realistic.
I rarely actually root for two people to become a couple in YA fiction, but this book was different. They both taught each other and encouraged the other to become a better person.
This is one of the best books I have ever read. Thank you, Abbie Emmons, for giving me a book hangover. Also, I need more books.

I love reading a debut novel that makes me so excited for future works from the author! Tessa and Weston were surprisingly likable for me, and their little love & recovery story made me happy. The additions of poetry throughout the story were lovely, especially when one is put to song. I would LOVE to hear a rendition of that, anyone who has musical talent!!
What kept it from being higher rated was my difficulty in embracing the soul-deep "I love you"s from our 16-year-old main characters. The last few chapters fell into a bit of the usual trap, where one character pulls away because they fear they aren't good enough. I suppose I liked their chemistry building up to that more, and the exploration through the senses was awesome! I was so excited when I got to the first section and realized that's how it was going to be handled.
It's a good light read that you can get through in a day or two, and will make you smile and feel a bit more grateful for your own life. Find the sunlight in every day. :)

I loved this book so much. I wasn't sure what to expect going in aside from romance, but this book made me laugh, made me cry (a lot), and I just love Tessa and Weston. They are so cute. There were a lot of times I didn't want to put this book down but had to because, well, sleep and other things. This may be one of the cutest love stories I've ever read. If you're wondering whether or not this book is worth getting, it is. Keep writing wonderful stories for us, Abbie.
