HENRY’S MAP is about a pig named Henry who lives on a farm with sheep, a cow, three hens, and a horse. All of these animals were friends and enjoyed each other’s company. Henry decided since everything was perfect in his sty that he would make a map of the whole farm. He went outside to map out where to sheep, cow, hens, and horse lived and they want on a walk up the hill to look at the farm and map together, but something was missing. Of course, it was the animals missing from their places on the map. Once everyone was back in their place, Henry was happy about what he had done. This story has illustrations which are watercolor and probably colored pencil, which is fun to look at as a reader. The characters in this story were very excited, and it even show that in the artwork, which is absolutely beautiful. This story can be used for children of all ages with a lesson about being together and knowing where home is. These animals were able to know where their homes were because Henry drew a map. It was definitely the little things that made these spunky farm animals happy!… (altro)
