But now we're stuck working together.

I like being the center of attention.
That works out well when I own the only bar in town.

One night she struts in and the whole bar stops.
Beautiful women like her don’t visit my tiny town.

I instantly want her.
She definitely wants me.
As soon as the bar closes, we can no longer resist the attraction.

We thought that would be the last time we saw each other.
But now there’s one little problem.

I’m starting my own bourbon label.
And I just lined up a huge presentation with a distributor.

To my surprise, the woman I’m presenting to isn’t some corporate nobody.
She’s the sexy woman from the bar.

She holds my company’s future in her hands.
One word from her and my dream dies.

And then there’s her boss, a ruthless corporate raider intent on getting whatever he wants no matter the cost.
Both of our companies seemingly stand to benefit from a partnership, and yet some part of me suspects he might have ulterior motives for my fledgling label.
But if I walk away from this deal, it might be years before I can snag such a golden opportunity again.

Not to mention that that will be the last I see of her, too.

If it were up to her, she’d remove herself from this deal.
She’s horrified she didn’t realize I was a potential client.
All I can think of is the incredible night we spent together.

She thinks we can remain professional.
But she’ll be here for a whole month.

I didn't want to like Nathan. I really didn't. He's so cocky it makes me crazy. But how can you not love him?! I don't think I've ever wanted a guy to walk off the pages of a book so much in my life. Jude is just amazing. I might love her more than Nathan honestly. She's got a fire in her and a drive to succeed. To say sparks fly between them would be putting it mildly. A steamy, witty read, and great story. I'm definitely going to have to read the other brother's stories now!!!
