- Øystein Ekroll (born January 16, 1957 at Larsnes on Sunnmøre ) is a Norwegian archaeologist and researcher. He has an MA in Medieval Archaeology at the University of Bergen in 1986. He is currently an associate professor at Nidaros Cathedral Restoration Workshop , where he has worked since 1992.
