Eastman|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1411830262s/23276128.jpg|42815166] is an absolutely delightful rhyming picture book that is a favorite for both my toddler and those who read it to him (i.e. Mom & Dad).

First and foremost, the story itself is unique, charming and heartfelt. It is truly a creative story...and I read A LOT of picture books. The rhymes and rhythm are perfect making it a joy to read over and over again. And the vibrant illustrations are gorgeous but I especially liked the creative use of various sizes and layouts throughout the book which created a sort of surprise element as you turn each page and discover just how the illustrations and text will be organized. The variety works very well.
