Four stars are too much, for me. But three way too few

An aging volume on F-14A

This slim booklet covers all the "Hornets": f/a-18a/b/c/d/e/f/ anf eg-18 (one page)
A lot of beautifull colour pictures. But not enought test for a "in action"

It is so old (1976) that it is now (2017) kind of cute. With reference tu TF-15 (later called F-15B), with statements such as "One set of pallets [the FAST Pack]were built by contractor and are not standard USAF equipment"

There is not the standard "central page" with siluettes of different versions/layouts

Nice booklets

Oldish (1982) but very interesting is the interview GD's Directtor of Flight Test (Phil Oestricher) that gives a lot of interesting details.

Interesting also the aim-7 rail mounted on each door of the main landing gear and those of F-16/79

Kind of old (1981) but still interesting, with photoes of the two-seats version
