Sweet, tender. She was an abused girl his family had saved and taken in after her abusive junkie father tried to sell her for a fix. Storms make her very upset and he's always willing to soothe her but he respects her boundaries until they both change theirs.

Life in the Past Lane by Kathy Love
Rocco Vincente is happy with his life of writing columns and squiring women around New York but his 15 year reunion happens and the woman in charge of the Bed and Breakfast he goes to happens to be Fanny who he liked from afar. As he explores the town where he finished his high school education from a group home, he gets some perspective from himself as adult.

Take Me Home by Erin McCarthy
Sarah is home and pregnant and unsure who the father was. Travis has always been her refuge but he's cautious, she mightn't stay and that would break his heart but he can't stop helping her.

Razors Edge - Sylvia Day
This was included in the Shadow Stalkers Novella Anthology - he's an old friend of her now-dead husband and he's always been attracted to her but didn't want to go there on a friend, she's getting over the death of her husband and trying to find a new future.

All in all the stories were okay, in some instances I would have liked a bit more, in others the story was about the right lenght. A few of the authors I'd look for again.½

Awkward in dialogue & plot.

Two different takes on werewolves, but both have them hot for full figured women. The first, Feral Passions, was better than the second in writing, piloting, and eroticism, but that's just saying it wasn't actually painful, just dull and predictable.

I only read two of these stories, Kate Douglas' and Jacquelyn Frank's. I have read all of Kate's 'Fire" books and wanted the next. It can be read without having read the other novels in the series, and as such makes a nice taste into the world, I'd reccomend reading the others for a fuller understanding of the background.

Frank's story was definitely part of a series. I am curious about this series. I'll have to price it out.

I got this as a freebie on my Kindle and really raced through it. I was drawn in by the characters, and didn't feel like the romance was rushed even though time was short for them. Stress and saving the world helps you figure out what is important. I like the new angle on Atlantis and the Lemurians seem like a people ripe for a coup. I'll enjoy reading that if it happens. I have purchased the rest of the series and am waiting for the rest. They are definitely worth the money.

I love these stories. Can't get enough of Sexy Beast, Wolf Tales, and other books. You have to read this one.

Kate is briliant so is the second writer, but the third one was questionable. I couldn't stay focused enough to read it but I got through it.

Holy Crap! That was awesome! So much imagery, talk about wanting to attack my husband.

Kidnapping, rescuing, plots against the President and a whole lotta sex and sexual energy, m/m, m/m/m/f, f/f etc

Lots and lots of sex, updates on the lives of all the Chanku, explainations of their history and where they are going and a few surprises. A nice wrap up of the series with openings for future tales.

The wolf pack has opened a wolf preserve resort getaway in order to find mates. Lots of things going on, the ladies all seem to have some gift and the guys all get lucky. While the bridesmaids are getting lucky the bride to be has to deal with her insecurities and fears that her fiancé will leave her. Author emphasizes that all these women have more to love body wise.

Bad boy comes home for his 15 year reunion and discovers his memories of the past may not have been accurate. He's the boy she had a crush on. Sweet romance.

They are both orphans, they grew close as youngsters. She left for bigger and brighter things and comes running back to him after she finds she's pregnant and panics and runs to the one man she could always count on.

Ben let his brother take the blame for the accident that claimed two lives. He's back after twenty years to make it up to his brother Jake. He's able to reunite with his brother only to find he's being followed and targeted and lives may be endangered. Lola is a caretaker, hears Ben's story and is very supportive of him as well as heat sparking between the two. These two connect very early in the story, the rest is about Ben learning to except his new family and circle of friends while trying to keep them alive.

Interesting beginning for a new series, has real potential

Some hard to believe scenes, but decent read

Jake is a successful photographer with a past that is catching up to him in the form of a stalker. Kaz is a model that as soon as he sees her he knows is perfect for his client, modeling intimate jewelery. While their professional relationship quickly becomes sexual, they become involved in several near fatal accidents. Nice romance.

Lots of combinations of sexual partners, wrapped up in emotional connections and sharing as these folks share sexual energy to save aliens from evil aliens and save the Earth

Keisha is being stalked by a reporter, the pack has poacher's on their lands and there's LOTS of loving sex going on. The story was good, I personally wasn't into all the sex, although all the scenes were well done.

Due to her father's alzheimers they lost their winery but kept her on to continue making great wine. He was hired to manage the vines and they immediately connect. Interesting, sweet story.
