The Oregon Trail is an informative book that describes what The Oregon Trail was, how it came to be, early explorers, and much more. This book would be wonderful for children in middle school hoping to learn more about history and I definitely recommend it!

Brief and powerful - this is a lesson anyone would benefit from learning or being reminded. Dizazzo uses the concepts of Clarity Factor and Receptivity Quotient to help explain the effectiveness of communication. The four clarity focal points are: 1. Focus your message (analysis, think and decide what needs to be said; objectivity, removing personal emotions), 2. Magnify the listener's attention (interest, importance, request for undivided attention), 3. Penetrate personal barriers (visual language, analogies, request for feedback, revision as needed), and 4.
