Erin go Bragh Nobody holds a grudge better than the Irish! I love this series and the exceptional characters Ms. Dalton has created. The very extended family caused a few rifts and extreme problems along with bringing out some surprises. I enjoyed the way the other offices joined in to help out.

Howl has become a lonely and grumpy wizard since his partner was killed last year. He wants nothing more than to get drunk and watch sappy movies right through Christmas. A dragon is loose in Chicago, and Howl is partnered up with Detective Reyes but Reyes wants to catch more than a dragon. This was a fun short story with a little Christmas thrown in. I liked the cantankerous Howl and felt bad for his loneliness. The story was cute with a smooth plot line which I'd expect from Ms Dalton. The HEA ending wasn't much of a surprise but getting there is worth the time.… (altro)
