Memories with Food at Gypsy House di Felicity Dahl

More autobiographical writings by Roald Dahl and also by his family and friends. This one comes after Going Solo as Dahl is settled into his marital life, and looks back fondly over his acquaintances, family, and experiences. I didn't read it for the recipes but I did enjoy the short chapter on chocolate.

Roald Dahl's kookboek di Felicity & Roald Dahl

De combinatie van de verrukkelijke maaltijden en de grappige en persoonlijke verhalen maakte dat dit boek tijdenlang op mijn keukentafel ligt. Het geeft blijk van een enorme levenslust, terwijl het geschreven is toen Roald zijn levenseinde al in zicht was. Er zijn prachtige foto's van de gerechten in het te vinden en ook leuke tekeningen.
