This book commemorates the bond that mothers and daughters share. I love that this book depicts a wide array of different cultures and diversity. They could have just used one mother and daughter but they used many different ages, cultures, and nations. This book compares women to the most beautiful and strong things in nature and I think will really empower girls of all ages!

Daughter, Have I Told You? celebrates the bond between all mothers and daughters, even grandmothers. The poems talks about all different times and different nations. So mothers and daughters from hundreds of years ago until now, and mothers and daughters all over the world. Each mother and daughter all have the same bond no matter what time or place. Being a woman is beautiful and this is also what this poem embraces.

This book was one powerful poem about the bond that mothers and daughters share. It is a great poem for mothers to read to their daughters at any age or time. The illustrations are very unique. The poem was different and quite honestly I'm not sure if I would ever be able to read it to my classroom.

This picture book shows powerful images, sounds, and words that shows the relationships between mothers and daughters across, ages, colors, and nations. This book helps children image how beauty of women when they stretch up from the earth, dark and strong like trees. A poem is that the mother passes her love to her daughter within the female’s history.
