My daughter loved the pictures of real animals!!

Not very good technique descriptions, very vague but some interesting photos.

This is a visually beautiful and quirky book, good for dipping into and learning from both the text and the illustrations. The included sketches inspired me to try things for myself. Credit is given to the translator, Natalia Tizon, and to three sketch artists. It's not clear who wrote the text, which is a shame. Someone or ones should get credit for the helpful writing.

These are tons of stitches and techniques in this book. It is great!

Excellent book for any crocheter to have.

This book is beautiful and inspiring for both the novice and advanced sketcher. Originally published in Spain and translated. Using various media, the chapters are in depth technique with visually stunning examples from human figures to urban landscapes.

I had a hard time just flipping through the book to see if there was anything I liked. I didn't see anything spectacular. The whole thing was daunting and the process seemed complex. It might be good for experienced crafters, but not lil ol me!

The Big Book of Knitting Stitch Patterns contains over 286 designs, covering everything from lace to cables to textured stitches to basic knit/purl. It contains both charts and written directions, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to either design their own patterns or customize written ones.
