Seymour Roberts Church

Being, supposedly, a reprint of a 1902 book about baseball's primitive years, e.g., pre-1871. The thought has occurred to me that this might be an Onion-style mockup, given the running "pig iron" advertisements throughout, and the almost too-typical prose style and unsystematic jumbling together of vignettes with no obvious relationship to each other. It's not really a usable book, but it's fun to read nonetheless.
