It's like a gossip-rag for Alexander, so very entertaining and built on a throne of lies. I was annoyed by the huge number of quotes, though, rather than the author producing his own analysis.

I enjoyed reading this thoughtful book with lots of beautiful illustrations.

As Mr. Chugg says, much has been written about Alexander the Great's life and adventures, but very little about his tomb which has been "lost" since the late 4th or early 5th century BC. In this book the author makes an attempt to place the original location of the his burial place, any relocations, and the possible location today.
He reviews a lot of information that is not new and a few recent discovers that have been ignored. At the summation he suggests a provocative theory of where Alexander's body is now. The reading is easy for a nonfiction book except for a chapter regarding the mapping of the original Alexandria in Egypt and it is absolutely loaded with photos, maps, engravings, and tables.
