Emma is a caretaker and big sister, screenwriter waiting for her big break. She knows and loves about Charlie, THE go to screenwriter in Hollywood. When the chance of a lifetime falls in her lap to work with Charlie on a rewrite, she is all in. Center’s characters are relatable to all, descriptive. Emma is outspoken, struggling with putting herself first. Charlie is a curmudgeon in training, hurt by others, lost his mojo and locked himself away. These two are fun to watch slowly come together and open up. They bring out the best in each other. The supporting cast is equally lovable showing the importance of family and friends.
