A foot wide by nearly a foot and a half tall, this is a 'SPECTACULAR' book both in size and in content. Taking full advantage of the poster sized pages, I have to say that the photo reproduction is excellent and cannot be flawed for crispness and clarity of both the black and white stills as well as the brilliant technicolour full page action shots. Finally just when you are already gasping at the shear magnitude of this incredibly oversized book you have to pinch yourself to believe that the author has gone beyond your wildest expectations by cramming in several fold outs to sweeten the deal!
A great coffee table book.
I must make mention too of the editorial which carries many of the most notorious tales of on-set maiming and carnage rife when these Hollywood spectaculars were fighting to the death to keep a dying business alive at all costs! Fascinating and shameful film making but utterly, utterly absorbing to read.… (altro)
