The world in your garden di Wendell Holmes Camp
Relates familiar foods and plants to their original geographical locations.
Certainly not an all-encompassing book of gardening or your garden but it's tracking back in history of where flowers, plants, fruits and vegetables came from originally and how they moved with mankind makes this one of the most used reference books I own. I bought a second copy because I expect to wear this one out.
