I read this because of the Samson and Delilah retelling aspect. I enjoyed it, however, there were way to many s*xual details that were unnecessary to get the point across. Yes, we all understand that he liked the ladies but that was a but too much if you ask me.
I will note that it was very jarring to have translations of the fantasy language for every sentence they spoke. It was definitely a bit hard to follow, especially when I had my phone read aloud.
The ending was great though. I will most likely try more of the author’s books in the future.… (altro)
