I love the World of True North that Sarina Bowen has created so I was beyond thrilled to find out that other authors would be writing books set in this world. Moo U is a fun series packed with great old and new characters. This is my first book Andi Burns book and it definitely made me curious to read her others.

I liked this book but it did frustrate me at times. I did not really relate all that well to Paige or Spencer so well I enjoyed their story I was not sad to see the book end. It was well written just not exactly right for me.

I am sad that Moo U us over but excited to see where else we get taken in the other World of True North books. This is a relatable place with characters you truly care for and want to see a happy outcome given to.

Andi Burns gets a shutout with GOALKEEPER (Moo U #10). Paige Underwood is a natural when it comes to speaking in public; goalie Spencer Briggs not so much. The two are paired up for the semester for their speech class.

I like Spencer (aka Briggsy). He has already been drafted by the Toronto Blaze. He is awkward and gets nervous giving presentations. However, when you get him on the ice, he is in his element. His dad did not make it to the NHL due to an injury. Unfortunately, as a result, he is ridiculously hard on Spencer. I was not a fan of his father.

Paige is a fun heroine. She is popular but down to earth. She has a passion for making videos for her beauty channel. She has always felt like she does not belong with her overachieving family. They expect her to become a lawyer, and she wants nothing to do with it.

Both characters have family issues. They are both under a lot of pressure. I love how Spencer and Paige helped each other grow. The two have great chemistry. The plot was interesting and thought-provoking. I enjoyed how Jenga was used throughout the book.

This is the first book that I have read by Andi Burns. I would happily read another book by her again in the future. GOALKEEPER is an excellent addition to Sarina Bowen’s world of True North. I recommend this story to people who enjoy hockey romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
