Dan Bruce

Dan Bruce, known in hiking circles as "Wingfoot," is widely recognized as the expert on A.T. thru-hiking. He has himself hiked the entire Trail from end to end seven times since 1985, and has helped thousands of others plan and enjoy their thru-hikes. His 1987 thru-hike served as the centerpiece of mostra altro the A.T.'s fiftieth anniversary celebration. In the past dozen years, he has donated more than 45,000 hours of volunteer service to hikers and trail organizations.
