Where the Body Was di Ed Brubaker

A nifty and tidy little character study about how untidy suburban life can be is wrapped up in a little murder mystery. A couple of characters talk about The Twilight Zone in the course of the book and some of the ironic little twists here wouldn't be out of place there, though they'd probably be more at home on the contemporary anthology series Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

Well executed, though I fear not exactly memorable.

Really enjoyed the focus on the legacy characters behind the Cap mythos and the chance to show heroism at a variety of ages.

Daredevil (1998), v19-v21: Daredevil by Brubaker… di Ed Brubaker

Interesting volume with lots of twists and turns as Matt spirals and loses control of his life even more in the wake of Mr. Fear messing with Milla in the previous volume.

Der Civil War hat das Leben Captain Americas zerstört und das all jener, die mit ihm in Verbindung stehen. Als sich erste Freunde distanzieren und Waffenbrüder fallen, sieht sich Cap mit seinen schlimmsten Ängsten konfrontiert. Gezwungen, gegen Freunde zu kämpfen, liegt auch Iron Mans Welt in Scherben. Warum ist er dennoch von der Notwendigkeit des Registrierungsgesetzes überzeugt und führt dessen Umsetzung an?
Die Fantastischen Vier sind am Ende. Auseinandergerissen von den Wirren des Krieges. Wer wird nun ihren Platz einnehmen?
