Duncan Brine

I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting of this book, but somehow it didn't do it for me. This is not to say that it isn't a nice little book. I enjoyed the literary excerpts, some familiar, others new and unexpected. The articles after the excerpts were very informative if one has never had a garden before. I suppose they might fire the imagination if one has a completely new garden as well. Mostly how-to on the growing of specific plants, some which inform on creating a certain type of garden such as shade, fragrant, or "junk." A few simple recipes and such.… (altro)
