Chasity Bowlin

This was a sweet story about moving on from one’s painful past.

The “resurrection” in the title refers to the heroine, Viola, Lady Ramsleigh, returning home after having disappeared and been declared dead, as well as to her metaphorically “coming back to life” after having been trapped in an abusive marriage for years.

The hero, Nicholas, was first introduced in book one, and I’d been curious what would happen to him. It was nice to finally read his story :). I loved how devoted Viola was to her son, and what a resilient person she was. I also enjoyed revisiting Castle Black and seeing Graham and Beatrice again! The epilogue was great; very satisfying. I only wish Betsy, Beatrice’s incorrigible maid, had made a reappearance, because she’d cracked me up in book one! But I did like seeing Lady Agatha again, and getting to meet Lord Ambrose. I look forward to his story in book six.… (altro)

Emma was the smart girl and Cody was the best basketball player the town had seen and one night after prom they find out how much time has been wasted. Things really heat up but fate steps in and changes so much in such a short time. Years later when fate steps in again Emma and Cody are brought back into each other’s lives and while Cody sees this as his real chance, Emma knows this could be the end of it all. Twists and secrets come out that will shatter your heart, but I loved that the authors let us into the minds of not just the main characters, but we got to see in others and how everything was effecting them. Such an emotional read that leaves you happy yet curious on how things will go for other characters.… (altro)
