This time Sam and Lacey are called to Plymouth, Massachusetts to free a ghost from a house that is both historic and part of a rejuvenation of tourism project. Things really get complicated but they get to enjoy some marvelous seafood!

Very nice story with Sam and Lacey travelling to Tennessee to help out a local historical society. The group has ghost walks at night featuring volunteers in costume telling the story of varied persons buried in the local cemetery section for Civil war burials. I can relate to that type of reenactment because we have that here for our local VA.
Another win!

Another great story based on the likable paranormal team, Sam Firecloud and Lacey Fitzpatrick. The characters are following a long arc and in this book have come together, determined to make things work out for them personally as well as professionally. I enjoyed this creative duo and that they are open to new things, willing to sacrifice in order to help others. The construction worker medium and the ex-cop researcher both work toward the same goal---to help trapped souls. No matter how things evolve, they keep their ground and listen to their hearts. These characters are very identifiable. Even on their bad day, you can't help but admire them. The story is a quick read, great for those moments in the day when you want to chillax. Bowersock writes well, the pace flows smooth. The scenes put the reader right there on a comfy sofa or in the middle of the action.… (altro)

Sam and Lacey are hired by a genius gazillionaire who is seriously involved with climate change but little interaction with anything in the outdoors. He even has them transported via stealth limo and private jet from private airport to private airport. It is an odd experience for them, but Sam has a relaxing time with some Zen practices involving sand and a rake.
The investigative aspect is in a fantastic mansion in upstate New York with a long history and where the gardener and his staff have experienced a very angry ghost who has seriously frightened them.
Of course, it's another excellent read!
Julie John is the talented voice actor who masterfully narrates this series.
