It's hard for me to rate this one. The sex is smoking in both stories, but for me, the emotional side was a bit lacking. And I didn't buy the guys problems which made the stories much less enjoyable.

"Through the Fire" by Liz Andrews. Baldwin survived his tour in Iraq, but his leg will never be right again. He also loathes himself and feels guilt for allowing his wealthy parents to provide better medical care than the rest of his military unit got. Kena is the woman his mother hired to clean his house. They are both attracted to each other and have steamy hot sex, but Kena isn't about to let him get away with feeling guilty for what she condsiders senseless reasons.
***WARNING: This story includes interracial romance, light bondage, and oral, vaginal, and anal sex.

"Risen From Ash" by Rachel Bo. Damon is a natural Dom who's been unable to enjoy his broken sex life since he returned from Iraq. He can't differentiate between a sub's willing pain and the pain of the war wounded. Ashland is a natural sub and his new neighbor. She'll risk her heart to help Damon overcome his fears.
***WARNING: This story includes BDSM, emphasis on the SM and oral, anal, and vaginal sex.

So even though I didn't love this twofer, if you're a fan of BDSM and military erotica, you may want to give it a try.

This book just didn't do it for me. "Strength in Numbers" contains two stories by Rachel Bo involving menage relationships.

Danger in Discovery is about a man in his 50s finally coming to grips with his bisexuality. It was interesting to read, but I got fed up with the on-again, off-again and self-agonizing. The sex was hot and there was a lot of it, but I never really liked the characters.

Branded is a fairly hard-core BDSM story that involves a F/M/F menage. Two dominants and one submissive. It was just a bit too rough for me.… (altro)

"Rated X-MAS" is an interesting erotic trilogy by Rachel Bo, Jet Mykles, and Barbara Karmazin. Each of the stories involves a permanent menage relationship.

"Twice Blessed" by Rachel Bo. Wickedly sexy contemporary were twins! I would have like to have seen this as a longer read (and I would really like to find these two waiting for me one dark night). I thought the relationship building suffered a bit because of the short story length. Still mega-hot, and I still enjoyed it.

"Christmas Noir" by Barbara Karmazin. Erotic futuristic story of a serial killer targeting hermaphrodites. Two cops who work together both on and off duty are assigned to protect the next likely victim who is a prominent 'shemale'. Not sure why, but this one set off a weird vibe for me. My least enjoyable of the three.

"Spiritual Noelle" by Jet Mykles. I'm really digging Mykles' writing. This is a really smoking hot contemporary starring two witches and a werebear. (Say that three times fast!) A little less "gay is OK" promotional dialogue would make this one about perfect for me.

WARNING: A couple of these stories include M/M scenes so if that offends you...don't read this book!
