Tracks across the Veld: a southern African rail safari di Boon Boonzaaier
This book contains some excellent photos of southern African railways. After a general introduction it looks at South Africa province by porvince, and then Namibia. The text is very good and quite comprehensive, giving a lot of history and background of railways in the region. There are quite a few useful maps. It is self-published by Boonzaaier, a well-known figure in the South African heritage rail community, and has been well-received by that community.
