In historical fiction, there should probably be time periods where the word "processed" is off limits for characters to use when thinking about their own interior lives.

If you can get past stuff like that, this alternate telling/perspective on the days leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus is not the usual lenten fare and will find an enthusiastic audience among certain listeners. The voice acting in the audio book edition is excellent.
