This book is a compelling read. Air Vice Marshal Don Bennett tells you about his remarkable flying experience before and during WWII. He did not suffer fools gladly and in this remarkable book he names a few people whose stupidity, timidity or ignorance held back the war effort and cost lives. It's a compelling read. I could not put this book down until I finished it. Don Bennett made enemies with senior people less able than himself who later denied him the knighthood he so richly deserved from his massive contribution to the victory of the allies in WWII.… (altro)
