A Northwoods Companion: Spring and Summer (Outdoor… di John Bates
Great to read the anecdotes of an author who has been in the same place over time. My favorite was when we were fishing, we had these terrible flies biting at us, and then we found an entry about Deer Flies! I like how the books are set up by season, but range in content from plants and animals.
This book is probably great for some people, but if you are a person serious about identifying the less-common wildflowers and plants, particularly edible or nutritiouis one, this book is a waste of time.
