Anti-Racist Art Teachers

The message is one that I love. I believe that people would be able to live more in harmony if they did the suggested activities with children. The activities challenge the assumptions of racial stereotypes and recognize the idea of becoming aware of what makes us different culturally. It encourages the exploration of culture and makes children of what racism is. Racism violates your feeling of safety. We all need to be aware of the cruelty and be empowered to challenge it whenever we see it. I hope that all art teachers who decide to use this book for activities have the full support of the school system and the community. In today's environment, that is not true everywhere.… (altro)
