A music professor (Parker Wilson; Richard Gere) who travels by train, one day meets up with a cute furry Akito (Hachiko). The pup becomes the professor's best friend and always comes to the train station to meet him. After the professor dies of a heart attack, Hachi continues to wait for his master every day at the train station. This film is based on a true story. Highly recommend.
