All Bree McInnes has to do is make it through the summer without anyone from her hometown discovering her secrets. And then she is so out of here. Because running away is what this single mom does best. Keeping a low profile turns out to be harder than Bree thought. Especially when Professor Parker Ellison--her sexy boss and a famous orchid hunter--begins to fall in love. With her! But between her own determination to skip town and Parker's aversion to being trapped in a "relationship," they could be over before they even start. And that's too bad, since exploring some home-style adventure could be exactly what her elusive bachelor needs. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |

The McInnes Triplets #2
Three sisters, triplets, dressed alike as children, pitted against one another by their father, finally returning to the family house to go through it after their father dies and hoping to become closer while dealing with the ghosts they never left behind. Their stories will unfold one by one in Spruce Lake where they once were not the happiest girls in the world but where love just might find each one of them.
In book two we hear Bree’s story. Having left home just out of high school and having to find her way on her own she returns to Spruce Lake to help go through her father’s things so the house can be sold. Along with her she brings her twelve year old son, Charlie. She has worked hard to pay for her education, take care of her son and make a life for herself. With a secret or two she does not want to share, a new job on the campus her father used to teach at, a job at a local bar to help make ends meet, a professor to fall for, sisters to get closer to and a lot to contend with this is a story that held my interest from beginning to end. Who knew that orchids could be so interesting or that an orchid enthusiast with a PhD in biology would be such a hunk?
Thank you to the author for the ARC – this is my honest review.
