As I find myself going through a devastating life change right now, I also find myself asking the question "why?" and Bishop Jakes does a great job ministering to everyone walking the path that is not where they wanted to be or entering their trial/tribulation. Each chapter takes readers to scripture and lessons as to why God is leading us the way that he is. There is a ton of encouragement and good news within these pages. I felt blessed to find this book and received some clarity for my situation. I feel as though Bishop Jakes has a way with words. He talks to readers as if he is talking to his family members or friends. I hope to purchase this book and re-read it as I continue this journey. It is a quick read, very short but to the point. It works for any denomination as well. ( )

Another well written book by T.D. Jakes, about the power of questioning God. This book disputes the old adage of not questioning our creator, but with verses like Habakkuk 1:2-4,13 New International Version and Psalm 2:1-2 the reader is led to believe it's okay to question God, within reason. ( )

An excellent view of why spirit filled believers go through the things they do. ( )
