One Night Stand is the right title for the book. While there is a glimpse of more at the end, I didn't see an emotional connection between the two characters.

Teddy has been admiring his boss Mashall for months and finds himself next to him in bed after a Christmas party and some champagne. We don't get to see much more than Teddy remembering some hot sex in a few flashbacks, other memories of his of the months before and his longing to have Marshall as a lover. When Marshall wakes up and indicates returned interest, they clear the air and end up having sex again.

While the descriptions of their interactions were excellent, the fact that most of the explanations came in flashbacks prevented me from really connecting, I think. It felt as if I wasn't really there, always one step removed. I think these two have potential, though, and would definitely like to read more about them. ( )
