I didn't really enjoy this book. Although I do enjoy racing, I do not know very much about it. The words defined in the book are very basic, and I feel like anyone who would pick this book to read would know what they are. Also, it seems to kind of skip around his career and not go in order which I find confusing. I did enjoy the track facts, they were things I didn't know before. I think that young boys may like this book, but I'm affraid they may think it is too easy for them.
This book could be used in a lesson where students will need to write a partial biography on themselves or someone else. It would be good to come up with things they feel the author did right, and what they don't agree with. Also, I may use it to try and use this book with a child I know enjoys racing to get them to read. Also, this book would be a good addition to this I may also use this book in a lesson on history, and how events that seem current are sometimes actually history, and what they think they can do to affect history.
