Wicked Intentions is a true crime book about a woman known as Sheila LaBarre who pulled mentally underdeveloped men into her clutches through sexual and other means, only to abuse them horribly and eventually kill them and attempt to destroy their remains in what can only be described as totally grisly and sickening fashions. Mr. Flynn, as a reporter, has pulled together the bizarre pieces of this story as best they are known. I found this to be a very interesting read on a personal level, as the perpetrator was born and raised in the same county as I was, and several names and places mentioned in the book were familiar to me. A good book for anybody who likes true crime and delving into the minds of serial killers. ( )

I'd like to give a higher rating, but the content made me uncomfortable. Well written and researched. Amazing true story of terrible evil some people can possess and inflict on others. ( )
