I chose this story to be the first i read as a manga because i know the story well. It is one of my favorites. I love Tim Burton and his stories/movies. Not as hard to read as i thought, especially since i knew the story so well. ( )

Nightmare Before Christmas: Manga es literalmente lo que dice el título, es la película que vimos en versión manga, incluso tienes que leerlo de atrás para adelante que en teoría es genial, pero si lees en digital como yo es extraño y un poco fastidioso.

¿Me gustó? Sí, fue bastante interesante ver esta adaptación, Jun Asuka hace un trabajo impresionante con los personajes. ¿Será mi favorito en cuánto a novelas gráficas? No. Como dije arriba, no hay nada nuevo, es la película, incluso las canciones están ahí, se diferencian por el cambio de tipo de letra… Solo que no tiene el encanto que esperaría.

It's been a few years since I've last seen The Nightmare Before Christmas, and I thought this manga adaptation would be a nice new way to revisit the story. However, I was slightly disappointed to see it was only the beginning of the story and seemed more of a sample than something to actually review. When scrolling through the reviews it becomes clear I'm not the only one.

While it's too short to really be able to get an idea of the whole story, it would still seem to me that it would be nicer to just rewatch the movie. Especially for me since it was the songs that I liked most anyway.
