Stephanie has accepted responsibility for her teenage son's hacking into the bank computers. Her punishment--six months of submission to the Thornes, all five of them. Having been a teenage mom, Stephanie has low self-esteem and distrusts the feelings she begins to develop for the five men.I wasn't thrilled with this book. The plot reminded me a lot of another of Zant's books; however, the ending was different. My biggest complaint was the irresponsibility of all involved. The Thornes have Stephanie tested for disease and then commence with six months of unprotected sex. What about the men? Stephanie didn't appear to have any qualms about whether or not they were "clean." Also, toward the end of the book, she gets pregnant--on purpose. She doesn't plan on telling the Thornes about it, either. That whole scenario just really grates on my nerves. In the end, she is happily living with all five men, but Zant destroys the fantasy by having Stephanie describe herself as the most hated woman in the state because of her living arrangement. All in all, I was left unsatisfied with this book. ( )
