What a BAD book!!
It kept me reading, made me swear at a chief of police, say horrible things about a lawyer and his partners in the firm, want to kick someones behind. It made me feel bad when it was time to go to sleep and put the book down and now I've finished, I feel empty, for there's nothing more to get all worked up about, the book is closed, read, done.

I won't get into the story. I can't without giving away spoilers and I hate doing that. I just want to say, that the writer has done a great job in writing this book. Reading it felt so natural, like I was in the middle of real people instead of paper characters, experiencing the things going on simultaneously.

I read other reviews, where the reader / review writer felt strongly negative about the good / bad stereotypes in the book. And that the heroism of one of the characters is out of place / not done. I must say, that I did not feel that strongly about it. Of course the stereotypes are felt, but since I find they have a function in the book, the do not disturb me to the extent that I dislike the book as a whole.

The book got me on the wrong foot time and again. Well done! I highly recommend it to all people who like to read a good thriller with an uncommon plot.

Det här är inte mycket till bok! Rörigt, bleka karaktärer. Som "deckare" saknar den dessutom spänning. Behållningen (om det finns någon) är Bodströms kunskap om det politiska spelet. Där tror jag att boken visar precis hur ruttet det är inom politiken. Skyll på andra för att rädda ditt eget skinn. ( )

Bättre än jag hade väntat mig. Somligt av det han skriver, Bodström, är riktigt intressant och roligt. Hans egen "cameo" höjer både romanens och hans egen självdistans på ett nyttigt sätt.
Det blir aldrig riktigt spännande - det hade han nog menat - men ändå lyckas jag hålla mitt intresse väl uppe.
Jag blir sugen på de övriga delarna i trilogin (om det är en sådan). ( )
