This one had all the right elements I felt the tragedy of Julian's youth but her unwillingness to commit was awkward, the explanation just wasn't believable. The suspense storyline was engaging but I found myself easily distracted and taking breaks from reading. It just felt like too many elements were thrown in and they didn't blend, otherwise a good story.

Review: I have been looking forward to Julian's story since Six-Pack's book. I really think that Julian was the most misunderstood character in the series and his story did not disappoint. In Hidden Fire Jo Davis tackles some very serious issues with tenderness and Grace (both the character and the attribute). This was just a fantastic love story that had some very intense moments. I enjoyed the mystery in Hidden Fire but felt it was wrapped up a little to quickly. Overall this was a fantastic addition to the series. ( )
