The ugly ducking is about a little bird who goes his whole life believing he is a ugly duckling. Everyone he meets hates him, which discourages him. He grows up to be a beautiful swan, but he remembers the days of being an ugly duckling, so he does not let this beauty go to his head. This book was great because it can teach children that bullying is terrible and that inner self beauty and self love is what really matters. This book is a classic story and I have always enjoyed it.
