This was a cool book! I think this is a great way to teach students about fossils and the different types of dinosaurs. The book goes into detail of each dinosaur and what they looked like, ate, etc. Great book!

This book talks about dinosaurs and their fossils. The author goes through several different types of dinosaurs, explains some of their bone structure, and explains how the dinosaur survived. He also provides a graph displaying the heights of dinosaurs compared to each other and a table that helps the reader compare one dinosaur to another.

Dinosaurs Bones takes us through an informational book about dinosaurs. The big, bright line on top of each spread rhymes, while the smaller, black words were the informational text about each dinosaur. The very last spread is the "Dino-Meter". This shows what the name of the dinosaur was, what it ate, how long it was, the weight, and what the footprint looked like. It is a very informational chart. (

I love this rhyming dinosaur book! Dinosaur Bones by Bob Barner incorporates vivid illustrations full of bold colors accompanies by interesting dinosaur facts. The text varies in format of texts - larger print stating one simple fact, with the larger print giving additional information. Great read for elementary school readers of all ages! (
