Yet trends show that today's post-Christian generations are not responding like the generations before them. Kimball is not a "far-out-there" type like some associated with the emerging church. He is very theologically conservative, but progressive in method.

This book offers great insight into how churches can reach the emerging generation. This is a must read for any would be pastor to the younger crowd.

Just ignore all the commentary that is given throughout the book. ( )

Not thorough, but helpful in its explorations of some elements in the emerging church. ( )

I really don't like this book. I'm sympathetic to the emerging church, but Kimball displays an attitude like "everyone's got it wrong, we got it right". Plus, he contradicts himself too often. ( )
