I liked how three hardworking men met 3 softhearted women in these three delightful stories. Each story has characters from the previous story and they all flow together well, even though they were written by three different authors.

In 'In His Will' you will meet Sondra Thankful, a widow with a child on the way who has inherited the Curly Q ranch. The ranch is being run by Dylan Ward, who always hoped he would inherit the ranch, but now suddenly finds himself being "saddled with a city girl who's the new owner". Watching how God turn this unlikely partnership into a lasting relationship is very enjoyable. The ranch hands and the main characters were very special people. (This story was my favorite of the three.)

In "Through His Grace" you will get to know one of the ranch hands from the Curly Q much better. You will also get to know Grace Willard who suddenly becomes the guardian of two small children, who she loves and wants the best for them. Eric Nichols, the ranch hand, sets out to help Grace as much as he can with these two children. But he has a past he must reckon with before he can face the future.

Finally, in "By His Hand" you will meet Victoria Thankful (a relative of Sondra from story #1), who has quickly gone from rags to riches and finds herself on Sondra Thankful's doorstep with just the clothes in her suitcase. She will meet Chris Ratliff when she smashes in to his prized Corvette. The relationship starts out a little rocky, but quickly turns into a mutual attraction.

All three stories were very enjoyable, full of humor, romance and a faith and love in the Lord that helped each person get over the hurdles and hardships they found in the heart of Oklahoma. ( )

"In His Will" is the first story included in the book Oklahoma Weddings. It was a charming tale about a pregnant widow and a cowboy who meet only because of the stipulations of a mutual friend's will. The amazing writing drew me into the story. I cried for the widow's lost husband, and I rejoiced at her baby's birth. Very well written, perfect for reading over a cup of coffee and a bowl of ice cream. Rating - 4 stars due to compelling story ( )
